About Yaaraa

Yaaraa Charity Foundation officially began its activities on December 10, 2020. Registered as the Yaaraa Women’s Aid Non-Profit Society in British Columbia, Canada, Yaaraa is an independent organization, unaffiliated with any ideology, religion, politics, or government. It offers assistance to disadvantaged women without any discrimination.

Objectives and Programs

Our goal is to raise funds for needy women in Iran, especially those who are single mothers or heads of households. Our motto is “teach them to fish, rather than giving them a fish,” with a focus on empowering them through skills training and entrepreneurship. In emergencies, direct financial aid is also provided.

To ensure sustainability, we follow up on the beneficiaries’ living and work conditions after some time. Feedback and reports from supporters like you help us improve future initiatives.

Activities in Canada

Your financial contributions are dedicated solely to needy women in Iran. However, we also support women in Vancouver facing the challenges of adapting to a new life. We assist them by introducing available government services and offering free educational courses.
