Yaaraa Charity Foundation officially started its activity on December 10, 2020. Yaaraa is registered as a non-profit group with the English name “Yaaraa Women’s Aid Non-Profit Society” in British Columbia, Canada.
Yaaraa Charitable Foundation is completely independent and does not depend on any creed, profession, religion, political organization, or government. There is no discrimination in selecting disadvantaged women for assistance. Our goal and program is to attract donations from philanthropists for destitute women in Iran who are self-supporters or heads of households. The method of spending the aid is for them with the perspective of “empowering them by training skills and entrepreneurship”, but first we will also provide financial aid to those who are in the middle of the crisis and in urgent need.
In this regard, since entrepreneurship alone is not enough, after some time their work and life situation will be investigated and followed up, so that by reporting to you that you helped, listening to your work criticism, presenting our own criticism and gaining experience, we can add to the improvement of future entrepreneurship. Your financial aid is only for women in need in Iran, although in addition to the above goal in Vancouver, we sympathize with women who are facing new life problems here and we do not leave them alone. Volunteers of Yaaraa Foundation are by their side by introducing them to government services and holding free training courses.
Yaaraa’s fundamental values and principles and its way of working
Paying attention to the human rights of the disadvantaged, the importance of preserving their dignity, respecting the independence of the supporter in choosing the topic of aid, paying attention to creating entrepreneurship in matters that are not against the preservation of the environment, the separation of Yaaraa Charity Foundation from any creed, profession, religion and politics. And its stability is only based on charity, and taking into account the legal standards of Canada, from the principles of Mind. We will also strive for transparency of accounts and regular reporting of expenses.
As for methods, as the name Yaaraa means ability, our vision and efforts are focused on developing methods that increase the awareness, growth and self-confidence, skills and abilities of underprivileged women in Iran. In these cases, there is a famous sentence that says, “Let’s try to teach them to fish instead of giving them fish every day.” We invite you to empathize, think together and accompany.
We are also grateful to the cooperating charities because the sums collected by the Yaaraa Charity Foundation are given to Soluk Charity in Iran through the campus charity to facilitate entrepreneurship. Soluk and Pardis charities and Yaaraa Charity Foundation thoroughly investigate job applications.
